We’ve always talked about taking the agency to New Zealand to celebrate, and this year we finally did it celebrating with our crew at the new 9 Dragons on New Zealand Road in Seabrook, New Hampshire! And yes, we may have also ventured out into the casino.
When the Carbon Crew gets together there are a few constants and this year’s holiday party was no exception.
- Steve told a dad joke (or 5)
- Nikki's laugh was audible across the room (but not in response to Steve’s jokes…)
- Jason was the tallest person in the room by at least a foot.
- Wes lost most of his money.
- Kim was the only one to successfully order an espresso martini.
We also had some new highlights:
- Julias ID managed to snap in half from the worker “dropping it on the keyboard”. Jury is still out on that one…
- The dinner conversation was more expansive than usual. From reality TV to heavy metal and hospital stays to ski mountains. You name it, we talked about it.
- We won’t name names but a few people needed some extra help reading the menu in the dim lighting. It might be time for a trip to the eye doctor…
- Chris Rio was the big winner hitting the random “chair bonus” at the casino…never tell me the odds
- Old staff, new staff, never a dull moment with the Carbon Crew!
All in all, the food was delicious, the company was unmatched, and, well, the gambling was hit or miss. Some of us left with lighter wallets, but everyone left with heavier hearts full of joy.
We’re about to head into our Carbon Recharge week where we take the week before Christmas and New Year off to disconnect (as much as we can!) and prepare for the year ahead. We hope you all have a wonderful Holiday season and we look forward to reconnecting in the New Year!
